In the Karlovy Vary region, Pavel won 49 percent of the vote, while Babiš got 51 percent. Of the districts, Pavel won only in Karlovy Vary, Chebsko and Sokolovsko was more in favor of Babiš. In addition to the Karlovy Vary Region, Babiš also won in the Ústí Region and the Moravian-Silesian Region.

They have in common the consequences of coal mining, but also a lower level of education or wages. He wants to know where people and mayors, who according to Pavel are often in favor of the ANO movement, see the main problems. “I will be most interested in what the residents of Karlovy Vary consider to be the main problems, how they perceive the effectiveness or, on the contrary, the ineffectiveness of government measures and how to prevent young people from leaving the region,” he said about the visit on Tuesday on Facebook.
