Around 70 artistic units from the 16 houses of culture that identify talents and perfect the qualities of interpreters throughout the extensive geography of Camagüey aspire to great prizes, prizes and mentions.
The jury is made up of Lena Lauzao Rosales, director of the Camagüey Professional Choir; Dailén Varona Cota and Arbelio Marín Padrón, both methodologists of the Provincial Center of Houses of Culture (CPCC)
The celebration contains three events: the Children’s Choir, the meeting of values with adolescents and young people Cuba that is beautiful in Cuba, and the space of the Party that integrates adults, the elderly and people with disabilities.
This edition salutes the 95 years of the group that carries Haitian Caidije traditions, the 60s of the Professional Choir and the speech of Fidel Castro known as Words to the intellectuals; the 20th anniversary of the group Los nuevos del son, from Sibanicú; and the Eighth Congress of the Communist Party of Cuba.

Alexander de la Torre, director of the CPCC, commented to Adelante Digital about the expectations with the Music Festival because in 2020 it could not be held, and confirmed the fulfillment of the role of the institution’s groups in the communities.
“Social networks have been the means of communication for art instructors, promoters and fans. Through WhatsApp groups we have held music, dance, theater and plastic arts workshops in territories with transmission of COVID-19 such as the municipality of Camagüey; in others we have done direct work. The pandemic has turned us around for the better, “he concluded.
