After the report of the possible rising of the Tula River by a new flooding caused by the overflow of the Danxhó damIn the State of Mexico, the governor of Hidalgo, Omar Fayad, urged the residents to leave the areas that could be affected during this night.

“There are still many people who want to stay at home, but we are inviting them to evict because they can drown even if they are on the rooftops,” said the state president.

In an interview with Eliza Alanís, for MILENIO Television, the governor of Hidalgo stressed that authorities reported that it will rain in the Metropolitan Area of ​​Mexico City and the State of Mexico, however, it is not known how much it will rain, “that is why I am asking for an urgent eviction.”

“I gave people two hours to leave their homes, they only have two hours and they are beginning to be in danger,” he added.

Likewise, he called for the solidarity of people who could be at risk due to the growing Tula River, so that no one is at risk or endangered before the next floods.

He thanked the support that the state of Hidalgo has received from other entities, for example the government of Veracruz, State of Mexico, Aguascalientes, Mexico City and Guadalajara.
