World Cup in sport climbing (bouldering) June 3, 2023, Prague. Adam Ondra.
Prague – Adam Ondra won silver in the World Cup in bouldering in Prague. In the final, he conquered all four routes. However, the Korean I To-hjon was equally successful, winning thanks to a smaller number of attempts. With second place, the Czech representative made a great start to the season, which will culminate in the World Championships in Bern in August.

On the way to a medal, success on the third boulder was key for Ondra, which required a great sense of balance with often miniature holds. The native of Brno conquered it for the second time after a very promising initial attempt, which only a Korean climber could do next to him out of the six finalists. In the sum of the tops from the opening two trips, Ondra moved from fifth place to second place. He confirmed this when he conquered the final boulder for the first time.
But To-hjon was equally successful. On the first attempt, the Korean climbed three out of four routes, only on the first one he needed two attempts. It took Ondra thirteen attempts to climb the peaks. French Mejdi Schalck won the bronze.
