Olympic champion and reigning world champion McLaughlin-Levrone raced only once this year, running 60 in the indoor meet in Boston. It will be her first start under the open sky since last August. Jacobs, who withdrew from Rabat and Florence due to a back injury, remains on the starting list. However, his expected duel with reigning world champion Fred Kerley will not be on the program, because the star American is not running in Paris.
The first diamond discipline will start in Paris shortly before 7 p.m. The main two-hour program will begin at 21:04 with the men's 400-meter hurdles.
