New Jersey defeated Los Angeles 4:3 in overtime thanks to 19 saves by Vítek Vaněček, who added an assist on the winning goal. For the second day in a row, Daniel Vladař stopped 25 Vegas shots, but did not prevent Calgary from losing 3-4 in overtime.

Boston was losing 0:1 and 1:2, but equalized after the actions of the Czech players. After passes from Pastrňák and Zacha, he first made his mark in the 12th minute from the left circle of Krejčí. At the beginning of the second period, Pastrňák struck after an elegant solo. The most productive Czech player in the competition took the puck from Krejčí on the red line near the left goalpost and drove into the offensive zone, where he tricked Adam Larsson with a loop. With a clever maneuver, he got in front of the goal and ended the entire penetration with the 42nd goal of the season.

Boston led 3:2 and 4:3 in the middle period with hits from Brad Marchand and Patrice Bergeron . But Seattle always countered early and in the 56th minute Jaden Schwartz brought it closer to winning with a shot to make it 5:4. However, Branden Carlo equalized in 29 seconds, and in 58:22, Jake DeBrusk decided the win for the NHL leader.

Kaut, making his second start for San Jose, celebrated his second goal of the season early in the third period. Hertl pulled the puck into the attacking zone, passed to his compatriot on the right side, who reduced the score to 2:4 with a shot to the near post. But Nashville didn't allow for any drama. His win was led by two-goal scorers Mikael Granlund and Nino Niederreiter.

Zadina quickly responded to Rangers' equalizer to make it 2-1 in the 28th minute with his second goal of the season. The Czech forward, who was replaced by Jakub Vrána in the lineup last time, beat Jaroslav Halák with a shot from the left circle over the catcher. Hronek added the team's fourth goal early in the final period, scoring on the power play with a wrist shot from the blue line.

New Jersey was losing 0:2 after the opening period and 2:3 in the last minute. With a risk without a goalkeeper, Jack Hughes sent the match into extra time, which was decided by Dawson Mercer with his second goal of the match. Vaneček scored an assist on a pass to Dougie Hamilton, who with Mercer was outsmarting the Los Angeles defense.

Vladář won 6:3 on the ice of Arizona a day earlier and kept a clean sheet in Vegas until the 35th minute, in which Jack Eichel beat him in a power play from the left circle and reduced the score to 1:2. Calgary bounced back to a two-goal blockbuster in the middle period, but they turned the home game around. The contact goal was scored by Zach Whitecloud from a quick counterattack, William Carrier equalized after a jam in front of the goal and Alex Pietrangelo ended the overtime from the stop.
