Ústí nad Labem – President-elect Petr Pavel will spend today in the Ústí Region. First, they head to Děčín. In Šluknovské Víběžek, he will talk to the mayor about the region's problems, and he will meet with residents in Česká Kamenice. He will visit a school in the Mojžíř district of Ústí, which is an excluded locality, and will debate with representatives of the region and then with students and the public at the University of Ústí. The trip to the north of Bohemia is his second trip to the regions after the elections, last week he was in the Karlovy Vary Region.

In Šluknov, the incoming president, who was defeated in the elections in the Ústí Region by former prime minister Andrej Babiš (ANO), will be welcomed by students of the forestry school. After meeting with the mayors of the surrounding villages, they stop at the Mikov knife company, which produces the legendary fish knife. In Ústí nad Labem, Pavel will first visit the Mojžíř elementary school and then meet with the leadership of the Ústí Region at the regional office. Pavel will end his visit at J.E. Pavel, who has a permanent residence in the village of Černouček in Litoměřice, was in Ústí nad Labem at the start of the campaign before the second round of the presidential elections . He was greeted by the then full square by the church with the leaning tower. In the regional capital itself, he defeated his opponent by 99 votes. Shortly after his victory in the second round of the presidential election, he stated that he would first like to visit the regions where his opponent, Andrej Babiš, received more support. In the Ústí Region, Babiš received 54.47 percent of the vote, which is the most of all three regions where he won. Babiš still won in the Moravian-Silesian region, where Pavel wants to go after the inauguration in March.
