A PDI police assistant managed to thwart an armed robbery in against him after firing at least 10 shots at the criminal gang that approached him outside his home in Huechuraba.

According to information from Carabineros, the incident It occurred at the intersection of Avenida Caciques Chilenos and Calle Melin at 1:00 p.m.
