Hustopeče (Břeclavsko) – Václav Pech drove for the fifth victory in the Hustopeče Rally in his career. Jan Kopecký, who was 2.7 seconds behind his long-time rival, secured the lead in the current standings of the Czech Republic Championship. Dominik Stříteský took third place with a distance of 69 seconds.

As expected, Kopecký and Pech fought for the win from the very beginning. After Friday's first stage, Kopecký was in the lead, attacking for the ninth victory in the popular rally among South Moravian vineyards. Today, however, Pech won four of the six special stages and after the second stage he got into the lead, which he never relinquished.
“It was very intense and it's unbelievable how we can go all the way to the end of the competition. The gravel here it's fine, but they can't just give us one-minute start intervals like on Friday night,” Pech told Czech Television.
From the point of view of the evaluation of the Czech championship, Kopecky's defeat did not have to be a regret, because the results of Pecha starting with the WRC special are not counted in the championship. but in the afternoon it rained during the middle test and we were wearing hard tires. Before I could touch them, we lost something and actually lost the victory,” said Kopecký in ČT.
The fifth part of the domestic championship series will be Bohemia Rallye Mladá Boleslav at the beginning of July.
