According to TASS, Peskov answered in the affirmative to the question whether Russia agrees with the West that the conflict in Ukraine cannot be allowed to freeze. German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, for example, spoke about the danger of freezing the conflict in the event of peace negotiations regarding Ukraine, according to the Russian agency.
“There are obviously no prerequisites for a peaceful solution yet. The special military operation continues,” Peskov also said. He blamed Kyiv for the failure of the peace negotiations that took place in the past.
