A 37-year-old Almuñécar man with an impressive arrests sheet was detained yet again in connection with a hold up in an Almuñécar pharmacy back in February.

The Guardia Civil involved in the investigation following the robbery also managed to identify the accomplice, who has been lying low since February. It was this accomplice who has now been arrested.
The hold up took place around 17.30h on the 16th of February when two men burst into the chemist, one of them armed with a kitchen knife – read the linked article for more details, please.
The police arrived promptly and from the description given by the attendant they were able to identify one of the suspects.
When the police brought the arrested man into the holding cells they asked the owner of the pharmacy to identify him as the accommplice from amongst other individuals in a police line up, which he did.
