The Tennis Garden exhibition was opened in the Museum of Applied Arts – an exhibition of photos from the book ONE:LOVE, the Court Supremes project by Radka Leitmeritzová, which is dedicated to the phenomenon of Czech women's tennis, May 29, 2023, Prague. Prague – The series of portraits of nine Czech female tennis players was created between 2019 and 2022 by photographer Radka Leitmeritz. From today they are on display in the garden of the Museum of Applied Arts in Prague. Today, she also launched a book called ONE:LOVE, which contains a photo, one of the portraits, Barbora Strýcová. The photographic publication also includes images of places associated with tennis in the Czech Republic, courts and old clubhouses, as well as personal observations of current and former tennis professionals.

The exhibition will be accessible from Tuesday and is complemented by an installation referring to tennis and its protagonists. In the showcase are Martina Navrátilová's sneakers or a rocket that, according to the photographer, was destroyed by Karolína Plíšková. The atmosphere of the tennis locker rooms is illustrated by tin lockers, and a machine that paints lines on clay is also on display. In addition to the mentioned women, the exhibition and the book include pictures of Hana Mandlíková, Helena Suková, Petra Kvitová, Barbora Krejčíková, Karolína Muchová and Markéta Vondroušová.
“I like the book not only because there are us, tennis players, beautiful, not sweaty and well-groomed, but I'm glad that you will also see courts that you don't even know exist,” said Strýcová at the press conference today. “It's my tennis world, as I perceive it, the sports part of it, but also the aesthetic and social part,” said Leitmeritz, who herself liked tennis as a game and plays it.
Leitmeritz comes from the Czech Republic , she worked in Munich, Paris and New York, today she works in Los Angeles. In Paris, she met her life and professional partner, the German photographer Rene Hallen, with whom she created the artistic duo Rene & Line. He publishes his work in international editions of magazines, including Vogue, Vanity Fair, Variety, Hollywood Reporter, Harper's Bazaar, Wall Street Journal and Elle. In Los Angeles Rene & Among other things, Radka created portrait photos of movie stars, together they directed several video clips.
Since 2019, Radka Leitmeritz's independent project COURT SUPREMES mapping the greatest figures in the history of world women's tennis has been created, which includes the book and exhibition ONE:LOVE that is currently being published .
