Polestar CEO Thomas Ingenlath wants to get a bit of pepper in the ass in the fast, but brave Polestar 2. But before launching such a sports version directly on the market, he first shows the ‘experimental’ model at the Goodwood Festival of Speed to gauge the enthusiasm of the public. If there is sufficient demand for it, we suspect that there will be a possibility to take this Polestar 2 ‘Performance’ into production.

More power, tighter suspension
This experimental Polestar 2 is based on the Long Range Dual Motor. As standard, it delivers 408 hp (300 kW) to the four wheels, this sports version goes up to 476 hp (350 kW). But the experiment doesn’t stop there, because the chassis was also examined.
