He may not return to France anytime soon. An elderly man 22 years old was judged guilty of mortal blows and condemned by the Portuguese justice at grave; seven years in prison, reports Ouest-France. The young man, originally from Brest, was involved in a fight between two groups which occurred in October 2021 in Port. The Finistérien, who was going with friends to a disco, would have struck. violently a Portuguese student in the face. This one, aged in his twenties, died a few hours later.
During the trial, it emerged that the Frenchman allegedly attacked the victim as she sought to run away. It also emerges that he would have, at first, denied; to be the author of the fatal blows and would have accused another member of his group.
Le Brestois, who had studied; to the University of Western Brittany (UBO), will have to carry out his detention in Portugal, indicates Ouest-France. He was also condemned to pay 200,000 euros in compensation to the family of the deceased student.
