Prague – PPF Group acquired 9.1 percent of the capital of ProSiebenSat.1 Media SE (ProSieben), whose shares are traded on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange. PPF announced this to ČTK in a press release today. PPF thus becomes the second largest shareholder of ProSieben after Italian media magnate and politician Silvio Berlusconi's company MFE.

PPF believes that the process of progressive digitization of ProSieben's services will increase the value of the company for all its shareholders. PPF is ready to cooperate with the management and supervisory board of ProSieben in this process. The group is an active investor in the fields of telecommunications, media and technology.
