Prague – On Easter, the people of Prague will be able to visit the markets, they will also be able to go, for example, to the Museum of Public Transport or the Prague Zoo. The biggest markets, which are held regularly in the city center, will last several weeks this year, ČTK found out from the organizers of the markets. This year, Good Friday falls on April 7 and Easter Monday on April 10.

At the Old Town Square markets, which, like other Easter markets in Prague, started already this week, people will find 71 stalls. Vendors offer Easter decorations such as different types of Easter eggs or ceramics and refreshments. Those interested can also look forward to the accompanying program, for example artistic folklore ensembles or children's creative workshops. People can also visit the stalls on Wenceslas Square or Republic Square.
People can also go to the Easter markets at the Prague Castle on Náměstí u svatého Jiří, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., on Fridays and at on weekends until 19:00.
Until April 10, there will also be markets on Náměstí Míru, people can visit there every day from 10:00 to 19:00, according to the spokeswoman for the Prague 2 district, Andrea Zoulová. According to her, this year there will be 34 stalls offering Easter goods and refreshments, and visitors will also see stalls of non-profit organizations with sheltered workshops.
People can also celebrate Easter at the Public Transport Museum, where visitors can enjoy On April 7, they will be able to knit a pom pom or decorate Easter eggs.
At the Prague Zoo, special guided animal feedings are waiting for those interested on Easter Monday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Selected species will also be given so-called Easter enrichment elements, i.e. toys to enrich the lives of animals.
