Prague – In Prague's Dejvický theater today, the organizers will announce this year's winners of the Theater Critics Awards. There are 25 nominations in eight categories for actors, other creators, and individual scenes or productions. Prague's Dejvické Theater and X10 Theater or Ostrava's Petr Bezruč Theater can become the theater of 2022.

Aspiring for the title of Production of the Year are the performances The End of the Red Man from the Theater in Dlouhá, Moskoviad performed at the X10 Theater and the production of Fifty, presented by the Dejvické Theatre.
The play The End of the Red Man based on the book by the Nobel Prize winner and advocate of human rights, Ukrainian-Belarusian writer Svetlana Aleksievich was written by Daniel Majling. The author conducted many interviews with residents of post-Soviet Russia and offers a probe into a society that believed in socialism more than others. Jan Vondráček is nominated for Male Actor of the Year for his role as Major Alexejev in this production.
Ivan Trojan is also nominated in the same category for his role as David in Petr Zelenka's play Fifty, which he also directed at the Dejvice Theater. The third actor aspiring for the best performance of the year is Roman Tomeš for the role of Hedwig in the play Hedwig and her Angry Inch, directed by Pavel Košatka. presented by the Prague State Opera, Nina Horáková for the role called Ona in the performance of the Rokoko Yerma Theater and Pavlína Štorková, who portrayed the poet Sylvia Plath in Jan Horák's author's play The Wife of a Published Poet presented in the Studio of Heroes.
