The nurse, who was in the later stages of pregnancy, died from complications of coronavirus on Sunday, but the doctors managed to save her baby immediately after cesarean section.
Mary Akiva Agaping (28 years) from Bedfordshire in the UK became ill with the coronavirus. Virus COVID-19 found her body on April 5 and 7 April she was admitted to the hospital, according to British channel 4 News.
After initially, the woman started walking to the amendment, as Mary suddenly deteriorated, prompting doctors to perform an emergency cesarean section to save her little daughter, reports the news outlet.
The baby is safely born and the doctors once again thought the girl’s mother starts to go on the mend, but her condition again deteriorated and she died on Sunday. It is unclear whether the discovered coronavirus newborn girl.
David Carter, chief Executive officer, Bedfordshire Hospitals NHS Trust, which manages the hospital Luton and Dunstable Hospital, where she worked as a nurse, said that her daughter survived, was “a ray of light in this very dark time”.
“I am deeply saddened to confirm the death of our nurses, Mary Aguy Agaping, who died on Sunday, April 12,”he said in a message to Channel 4. “Mary worked here 5 years and it were highly valued and loved members of our team, she was a fantastic nurse and an excellent example of what we stand for”.

One former colleague said that Mary “has devoted his life to the National health service as a nurse”. Ren McInerny wrote: “Sister Mary was my colleague, I worked with her for several years. She deserves to on her family to be cared for after she devoted her life to the National health service as a nurse”.
Other colleagues at the hospital described her as “incredible nurse”, according to Channel 4.
