A pregnant woman was injured Monday night in the middle of a shooting in downtown Santiago, specifically in the Yungay neighborhood.
According to the first records, a couple of Peruvian nationality were outside a commercial premises, located on MartÃnez de Rozas corner with Cueto, waiting to receive a food order.
A group of individuals on a motorcycle came to this place, who shot several times and then fled the area.
Both were found wounded and were taken to a care center, where they were stabilized. This was detailed by captain Bryan Ianiszewski.
The fact could be an adjustment of accounts and it is presumed that the focus of the shots was the partner of the pregnant woman.
The information was made available to the Public Ministry, while Carabineros investigates the hypotheses of what triggered this fact, as well as looking for those responsible.
