Prague – This week, President-elect Petr Pavel will meet with Prime Minister Petr Fiala and the presidents of Austria and Hungary, who will arrive in Prague to say goodbye to outgoing President Miloš Zeman. This week, Pavel will also take part in a motorcycle exhibition or a debate at the Center for Contemporary Art DOX, organized by the weekly Respekt. They have already seen each other several times since the election, Fiala came to congratulate Pavlo directly in the election staff, they also spoke at a meeting of the highest constitutional officials. Pavel recalled that he agreed with Fiala at regular meetings. They will talk, for example, about the upcoming presidential inauguration as well as current affairs, Pavel said at today's press conference.
During his trip to the Ústí Region last week, Pavel told journalists that he wanted to propose to Fial holding a government meeting in the Karlovy Vary or the Ústí Region. However, he does not expect that he would attend it together with the government.
Pavel plans to have a short meeting with Austrian President Alexander Van der Bellen on Thursday.
