Before moving to Los Angeles with her family, prince Harry has sold items of great value and retrieve a pretty penny. But beyond the price it has pulled, it is the gesture that will most appeal to Meghan Markle.
Prince Harry is-he decided to put his past behind him ? Since his marriage with Meghan Markle in may 2018, the son of prince Charles has made many changes in his daily life and his way of living. Now installed in Los Angeles with his family after having abandoned his privileges of crowned head, it is found out that he has also decided to draw a line on an old hobby : the hunting. He has renounced this hobby very popular within the royal family for a few months now, prince Harry has just put an end to this passion by selling two shotguns to the mark Purdey.
Estimated at thousands of euros, these two objects have been sold by prince Harry for 50,000 pounds, or about 57.300 euros, a few months ago, a per-transaction private, accurate The Sun. And the owner of these rifles was a bit taken aback by the buyer. “He bought them because he wanted to, not because they belonged to Harry, but he was very shocked when it was discovered, says a friend of the buyer anonymous to the tabloid. They are beautiful objects and it is very happy, but this is not the kind of person who wants to boast of the connection royale”, he added.
The hunt is over for Harry ? “I think he’s going to stop”
A sale which, however, had to be very pleased with Meghan Markle, a fervent defender of animals and opposition to hunting. A decision also had to rejoice in the famous ethologist Jane Goodall, friend of the couple Sussex that prince Harry had been interviewed for Vogue, English, when his wife had been named a guest editor. In an interview with Radio Times on the 14th of April last, she had found what she liked, not with princes William and Harry. “These are natural champions unless they are hunting and they shoot. But I think that Harry is going to stop because Meghan does not like to hunt, so I think it’s over for him”, she assured.
