Rape occurrences grew in the state of São Paulo in June compared to the same month last year, from 837 to 840. In cases and victims of intentional homicides – those with the intention of killing – and in robberies in overall, there was a fall. The criminal statistics were released today (23) by the Secretariat of Public Security of São Paulo (SSP-SP).
Cases of intentional deaths fell by 3.3% last month, compared to June 2020, from 211 to 204. In number of victims, there was a drop of 6.8%, from 222 to 207. In both situations the results are the lowest of the historical analysis, started in 2001, for the months of June.
