The father of the little girl from Granby has decided to appeal the decision of the Parole Board of Canada. The information was confirmed by his lawyer who does not wish to give any information on the reasons for his request.

About a month ago, the Commission of parole du Canada (PBC) refused to grant her day parole or parole.

Contacted by telephone, the girl's paternal grandmother declared that she knew of the news, but preferred not to comment. During the hearing on her son's request, she asked the Commission not to release the man.

The seven-year-old girl died in April 2019 in tragic circumstances. She had been wrapped in duct tape hours before she died.

Her father pleaded guilty in December 2021 to a forcible confinement charge and was sentenced to a four-year prison term. penitentiary.
