Nothing is going well for the social network of the blue bird. As departures multiply within the platform, bought by Elon Musk on October 27 for 44 billion dollars, many users are wondering today if the end of Twitter is near. The hashtags #RIPTwitter and #TwitterDown have emerged; since Thursday on the social network, even rising to the top of trending topics.
Internet users have thus started to comment on the death of Twitter… on Twitter. “ And… we just hit a new peak in twitter usage, lol” Elon Musk, tweeting a pirate flag at skull and a meme (parodic image), showing a man with a blue bird face, posing in front of a tomb also masked with a blue bird, as if Twitter was hilariously attending to his own funeral.
