The ministry did not disclose further details of the alleged attack, the information about it was part of a daily report on the so-called special military operation, as Moscow calls its invasion of Ukraine, which has lasted for more than a year.
The Azov Regiment, which has rooted in Ukrainian far-right and ultra-nationalist circles, since November 2014 it has been under the official name of the Azov Special Operations Department under the Ukrainian National Guard. Attention was mainly focused on his fighters last spring, when for weeks they defended the Azovstal steel complex in Mariupol, which was besieged and then captured by the Russians.
