SEGA formalize its its Game Gear Micro
After the Mega Drive Mini a few months ago, the giant SEGA has decided to continue in the path of the miniature replica. No Dreamcast Mini or even Saturn Mini, since the group nippon has decided to revive its famous console portable Game Gear. Great news at first sight for the fans, but this Game Gear Micro fast of what to do become disillusioned even the biggest fan of the brand…
In fact, the Game Gear Micro is famous (among other things) for its energy consumption, and by its template. With its Game Gear Micro, SEGA has decided to correct the shooting, offering a miniature replica… too miniature. Like the Game Boy Micro in its time, the console of SEGA is in the palm of the hand, with a template enough microscopic which promises to be particularly binding for the eyes (and thumbs).
Four colours, four games (various)…
The other bad news is that this Game Gear Micro will be available in four colours. So far, nothing too serious, the black origin being at the rendez-vous. The ” catch “is that each version will contain a total of four different games. And of course, SEGA has taken care to dispatch its flagship games on the different colors… The black model contains, in particular, Sonic, the red model allows you to play Shinobi, the blue model to Gunstar Heroes…
In this way, SEGA is hoping that fans of the brand will decide to offer the four versions of this Game Gear Micro. A console that will be launched in Japan on the 6th of October next, at the unit price of around 40 euros. Those who purchase all four versions, SEGA will offer an accessory baptized Big Window, or a magnifying glass to come clip it on the console screen. For its part, the console will operate with two AAA batteries or via a USB cable).
A Game Gear Micro that is part of a series of announcements from SEGA to celebrate the 60 years of the brand. Though one hopes SEGA will have something else to offer to his fans that this little Game Gear Micro that it’s hard to find any interest to tell the truth…
