Bakuriani (Georgia) – Snowboardcrosser Eva Adamczyková smoothly advanced to the quarterfinals at the World Championships in Bakuriani. The Olympic champion from Sochi, who broke both her legs above the ankles a year and a quarter ago, won her first race with ease. Conversely, Vendula Hopjáková was eliminated in the round of 16. Snowboard crossers were originally supposed to race on Friday and qualify a day earlier, but due to the unfavorable weather forecast, the organizers moved the entire race to today.
