“I have not encountered anything similar in my career so far. (The accused) did it in a subtle way,” said investigator Martina Pešlová Koutníková. The woman allegedly transferred the same amounts for which she bought for companies to her own accounts. According to the police, the companies trusted the woman for a long time and she was able to keep the accounts in such a way that nothing could be detected. “But in the end, the companies didn't like it, that's why they called the police,” said Pěšlová Koutníková. According to the police officers, the exceptionality of the case is also confirmed by the fact that the forensic expert worked on the case for a year.

The accused woman bought various items with the money. These were, for example, cars, motorbikes, luxury watches or handbags. “The case is also unique in that, for the first time, it was possible to find and then secure jewelry sets studded with diamonds with certificates of authenticity from a private safe deposit box from non-banking companies,” said Pešlová Koutníková.

The woman also used the stolen money to pay for her travels around the world, luxury holidays in expensive hotels for yourself and your loved ones. “We also managed to secure money in cash, but we will not specify the amount,” said the investigator.
