The rumor is surprising, but it is also very attractive. Recently, Alden Ehrenreich was mention of his desire to do a follow-up to Solo : A Star Wars Story, a project that he was putting conditions. But, the prospect of a sequel is not necessarily very attractive for the fans who have been disappointed by his incarnation of Han Solo. A different view was, however, thrown on the performance of Donald Glover, the brilliant actor (Community, Atlanta…) and a musician (under the pseudonym Childish Gambino. In the film, he played the role of Lando Calrissian, succeeding Billy Dee Williams. And he could well resume his role.
Donald Glover to return in Star Wars ?
For the moment, it is just a rumor. But it is also echo the statements of Alden Ehrenreich, who acknowledged having ” heard things “. It also comes from the podcast Kessel Run Transmissions which had already announced the new animated series The Bad Batch, which gives him a bit of weight.
Lando Glover would take over the role of Lando Calrissian for a series Disney+ live. He would even have already agreed to the project for a series that will be a sign of the return of Billy Dee Williams. The idea would be to cover the history of Lando Calrissian in several moments of his life.

The idea may seem surprising, especially because Donald Glover has many offers on the table. See it commit to a full series would therefore be something confusing. The solution could therefore be that it either eventually a spin-off referred to by Alden Ehrenreich. This would at least be the opportunity to find on the screen Darth Maul that we could see in the last moments of the first film. A folder to monitor and which might well make them crazy some fans of Star Wars.
