Disney+ surprised us with the awesome series The Mandalorian. While it is now waiting for the season 2 of walking on the farm and that the third is preparing, it is time for the fan-service. This includes making-of that are a pleasure to enthusiasts of Star Wars, and by the intervention of stars and iconic characters from the universe created by George Lucas. If one of them is going to appear in season 2, Mark Hamill, alias Luke Skywalker has not provided this small gap. The actor has, however, confessed being a fan of the series.
Mark Hamill, between western and back to the source
If the stories of the bounty hunter and baby Yoda like Mark Hamill, it is because there is a kind of original purity.
They do not have the burden of having to issue a grand spectacle full of special effects as is the case for movies. There is a back to basics, like when George Lucas was planning to make a western that takes place in space. There is this atmosphere, which reminds me of a Sergio Leone film. This is something that impresses me a lot and for me it is very intelligent to have done that.
Clearly, if the series the Mandalorian likes of Mark Hamill, this is because this is not Star Wars but also because it departs from the canons of current cinema. A thought he develops a bit more then.
It’s a bit like the movies of the superheroes that we wait for their epics gigantic. With The Mandalorian, then you can concentrate more on the characters and the plot. I find that it is excellent.
And for those who would ask the question again, Mark Hamill reveals that he has finally finished with his role of Luke Skywalker. It regrets, however, the final bitter-sweet that he has brought you the saga.
