Season 4 of Stranger Things is announced (once again) as being dark. And if it was good ?
Stranger Things, it’s a little bit of the greed that is expected to with pleasure each year on Netflix. The very good surprise that we fell on the corner of the nose in 2016, is coming soon for a fourth season is already highly anticipated. The production was interrupted because of the outbreak of coronavirus and it will therefore have to wait a bit to find the continued adventures of Eleven and the other. But, it is also a time to see the things in front. If the adventures are still as catchy, children, and the series is struggling somewhat to grow beyond the original myth. Good news, season 4 could eventually be one of upheaval.
Stranger Things wants to make us tremble
One remembers already that in season 3, a certain degree of maturity began to pick up, but way too light. Romances, adolescent girls may not be sufficient to raise the salt to a series that changes course. The few rare flare-ups in the world of horror, with which the series flirts shyly since its inception were still far from being adequate to our taste.
But, Joe Keery, the actor who portrays Steve Harrington (the former boyfriend of Nancy) promises in an interview that the change is in the works. Interviewed by Games Radar, it thus promises that season 4 will be ” much more frightening than in previous years “. As he also acknowledges, this is not the first time that the saga of the Stranger Things we made this promise, he believes that the last season was already pretty dark ” and, therefore, that the level of horror is pushed back a little more each year.
Even if it is still to be taken with a grain of salt, we can hope that this is actually the case. The way of the saga Harry Potter, Stranger Things could succeed to gain in maturity over the years. We keep our fingers crossed.
