“Branches will be broken and trees uprooted on waterlogged ground. Wind and rain will cause rapid melting of the snow cover in the mountains,” meteorologists said. They also warn of forest and tree damage and minor damage to buildings, and people should watch out for windblown objects and broken branches. Drivers should be careful, people should limit their hikes in the mountains and not go to the ridges.

The warning against strong winds with a low level of danger is valid from 14:00 today for Prague, the entire Pilsen and Karlovy Vary regions and most of South Bohemia and the Central Bohemian Region and part of the Ústí Region, in the evening it will start to blow in the rest of the South Bohemian Region, Vysočín and Znojemsk in the South Moravian Region. On Saturday afternoon, it will be blowing in almost the entire territory. “At the end of the weekend, the wind will gradually weaken. We will refine the warning as necessary,” meteorologists said.
