Study: Robots take on more jobs as aging rates increase

The study looked at demographic and industrial data for 60 countries, and found a strong link between the use of robots and an aging workforce, which refers to the proportion of workers aged 56 or older compared to those in the 21-55 age group.

The research revealed that the age component alone accounts for 35 percent of the difference between countries in the use of robots, as it was found that countries with older workers are more likely to use these devices, and by a large difference than other countries, according to “Reuters”.
