The Jablonec club is repeatedly troubled by the weather in the winter months, the last home match against Teplice (4:1) two weeks ago was already affected by snowfall and difficult terrain. Since the past few days, the lawn at Střelnica has been heavily waterlogged, and since this morning it has also been covered with approximately 15 centimeters of snow.

LFA Executive Director Tomáš Bárta decided after a morning personal inspection of the pitch that the pitch would be irregular for the match. “There is a continuous layer of snow on the field. It would not be possible to prepare the playing field in a suitable condition with regard to the health and safety of the players, if all options were used,” said Bárta.

This is the first postponed match of the spring part of the Premier League season. . Both teams were in good form before the game, winning three of their last four rounds. After a successful series, Jablonec moved to 10th place in the table, Slovácko is fourth.

The LFA, which manages professional competitions in the Czech Republic, also postponed today's second league match between Chrudim and Táborsk because of unsuitable terrain. The match was supposed to kick off at 10:15. The alternative date is also yet to be decided.
