Cyber attack on Iranian infrastructure was carried out on 8 February
The head of the Organization of civil resistance of Iran, Gholam Reza Jalali accused the United States of America in a recent cyber attack on Iranian infrastructure. About it reports RBC-Ukraine with reference to the Agency Tasnim.
According to Jalali, the analysis showed that a cyber attack on the infrastructure of Iran is likely, was carried out by Washington.
“Our analysis shows that, most likely, the attack was committed from the territory of the United States,” he said.
The Iranian President’s office, added that while experts failed to identify the exact place of origin of cyber attacks, because “it is complex, requiring a large amount of time in the process.”
It is noted that on 8 February, the representative of the Ministry of information and communication technology of Iran pictures of Bonabi said that the country’s infrastructure was done by a cyber attack. This has caused temporary disruptions in the Internet.
We will remind, earlier it was reported that Iranian hackers carried out a cyber attack on one of the US government websites to gain access to public Federal database of government documents. The attack occurred after the death of the Iranian General Qassem Soleimani during an American airstrike in Iraq.
Also RBC-Ukraine wrote that U.S. cyber command has conducted a cyber attack on an Iranian espionage group that supported the attack on the tankers in the Strait of Hormuz. The Council of national security of the United States, declined to comment.
