Paris – In the fourth round of tennis Roland Garros, the seventh player in the world, Uns Džabirová, defeated the American Bernarda Pera 6:3, 6:1 and advanced to the quarterfinals at the Paris Grand Slam for the first time in her career.

The 28-year-old Džábirová did not give Pera a chance and won in 64 minutes. The next opponent of the former world number two will be Sara Sorribesová from Spain or Beatriz Haddadová Maia from Brazil.
Roland Garros was the only Grand Slam so far where Džábirová did not reach at least the quarterfinals, her maximum was the fourth round. Last year she played in the finals of Wimbledon and the US Open, her best result at the Australian Open is the quarterfinals from 2020.
