The CJTB community radio station in Tête-à-la-Baleine is located on rue de la Salle, in the village.
The CJTB community radio station in Tête-à-la-Baleine must return to its regular programming as of June 5.
The appointment of a new director at the station, Émile Neault, allows this return to the air.
The Tête-à-la-Baleine radio would eventually go out if there was never anyone who took over the management in the fall. That's also what motivated my decision, explains the director of CJTB radio, Émile Neault.
“Le 5 June, the people of Tête-à-la-Baleine can expect to hear me. »
— Émile Neault, director of the CJTB community radio station in Tête-à-la-Baleine
The director of the CJTB community radio station in Tête-à-la -Baleine, Émile Neault
This French-language radio station on the Lower North Shore has not been producing exclusive content since last January, due to lack of manpower.
< p class="e-p">Émile Neault indicates that he has already worked twice at the radio station during the summer seasons of 2021 and 2022, notably for the morning show La voix du large.
He believes that his return will allow CJTB radio to offer its services at least for the next year. But Émile Neault admits, however, that he would like to welcome new colleagues to ensure survival.
I would like to find someone to accompany me and to produce new original programs because I manage the direction and the animation alone, he specifies.
Besides, the vice-president of the board of directors of the community radio CJTB in Tête-à-la-Baleine, Gabrielle Anderson-Shattler, is always looking for new members to sit alongside her.
Émile Neault plans to move June 1 to Tête-à- the whale. In the meantime, he is working part-time remotely to familiarize himself with the files brought by management.
