The Baie-Comeau Arts Center launches its programming for fall 2023

Tickets will be on sale on the Center des arts de Baie-Comeau website from May 29 at noon.

The Baie-Comeau Arts Center unveiled its fall program of 34 shows on Tuesday morning.

Several artists, including Simon Leblanc, Isabelle Boulay, Michel Rivard, Les Trois Accords and Alexandra Stréliski, will tread the boards this fall in Baie-Comeau.

We have 34 shows, but the number of performances may vary. It always depends on school performances, says the general and artistic director of the Center des arts de Baie-Comeau, Marielle-Dominique Jobin.

This year marks a return to family show series and dance performances.

During the pandemic, we lacked so much predictability that it was not possible to offer these series. I am now happy to see that we can offer them for the entire year, says the general manager.

She specifies that for the two previous seasons, in the fall of 2022 and winter 2023, ticket sales have not matched pre-pandemic numbers.

The season is due to conclude on December 1 with the theatrical adaptation of < em>Symphorien, the famous Quebec comedy soap opera.
