Investment Bank Citigroup has dismissed a trader accused of stealing sandwiches in the dining room service.
As BBC reports, citing Financial Times, the 31-year-old trader at an investment Bank Citygroup paras Shah was the head of the Department of trade high-yield bonds in Europe, the middle East and Africa. His salary for last year amounted to more than a million pounds, including bonuses.
Last month the Shah was removed from office — he was accused that he took sandwiches in the corporate dining room at the company’s head office in Canary Wharf and not pay for them. Did like regular, not specified.
BBC correspondents tried to contact Parasol Shah through a social network LinkedIn, but his profile apparently was removed.
