The end of The Mandalorian 2 on Disney Plus surprised fans with its ramifications on the fictional Star Wars universe. One of these is the surprise appearance of Boba Fett in the post-credit scene of the series.
This is how the company announced that the bounty hunter will be the protagonist of its own series entitled The book of Boba Fett. Contrary to what many fans believed, it will not be a prequel, but a continuation of the original series.
Almost a year after the announcement, director Robert Rodríguez spoke with Collider about the show. As if the hype was not high enough, he assured that it will exceed the expectations of all fans, no matter how great they are:
“Wait to see what will come. It will blow your mind. That’s all I can say. I can praise him all I want, because I know he overdelivers. Delivers a lot in excess. People will be very excited when they see it. “

As we saw in The Mandalorian 2 post-credits scene, Boba Fett enters the palace of the late Jabba the Hutt. His goal: to occupy said throne and become the crime lord of Tattoine. To overthrow his competitor Bib Fortuna, he will have the help of the mercenary Fennec Shand.
For the occasion, the actor Temuera Morrison will reprise his role as the iconic bounty hunter from the original trilogy, the only clone of the original Jango Fett. However, we will have to wait until December 2021 to see him wearing the character’s suit and armor.
