Six are the businessmen who will accompany the President of the Republic, Gabriel Boric, on his tour of Mexico. From Richard Von Appen from Sociedad de Fomento Fabril (Sofofa) to the main executive of Sky Airlines, Juan Ignacio Dougnac.
Within the next few hours, the President of the Republic, Gabriel Boric, will arrive in Mexico to hold official activities and business meetings. This, after the cancellation of the Pacific Alliance summit following the decision of the Peruvian parliament not to allow the president of that country, Pedro Castillo, to attend.
From Richard Von Appen de la Sofofa to the chief executive of Sky Airlines, Juan Ignacio Dougnac. Six are the businessmen who will make up the business delegation that will accompany President Gabriel Boric to Mexico.
One of the businessmen who will accompany the president is the president of the Sociedad de Fomento Fabril (SOFOFA), Richard Von Appen, one of the oldest and most influential business associations in the Chilean industrial sector.
In turn, he is Chairman of the Board of Terminal Pacífico Sur Valparaíso (TPS) and holds the same position at the shipping-port holding company Ultramar.
Another of the businesswomen appointed is the president of ChileSertur AG, Evelyn Henríquez, a national and regional trade association in charge of representing micro, small and medium
businessmen and entrepreneurs of the national tourism industry.
In addition, she was president of the Chamber of Commerce and Tourism of Valparaíso A.G. and currently she is director of the marketing company Price Group S.A. and a member of the board of the Fundación Imagen de Chile.
For her part, the general manager of the Association of Manufactured Exporters (Asexma) , the industrial civil engineer Marco Illesca, will also participate in the meeting in Mexico.
Along with his position at Asexma, he is a member of the Advisory Council for Smaller Companies of the Ministry of Economy, and a director of the Agency for Sustainability and Climate Change of the Corporation for the Promotion of Production (Corfo) .
The fourth member of the delegation is the chief executive of Sky Airlines, José Ignacio Dougnac. Also recognized for being one of the youngest CEOs in the South American aviation industry at 36 years old.
Along with his current position, José Ignacio Dougnac had a brief participation in the State as advisor to the Undersecretary of Assistance Networks, and later head of the Management and Planning Division of said portfolio.
Another of the businessmen participating in the visit to Mexico will be the commercial engineer Arturo Pérez Danús, general manager of the receptive tourism company Andariego D.M.C.
Finally, the executive vice president of the Federation of Tourism Companies of Chile (Fedetur), Helen Kouyoumdjian, will also make up the list of businessmen, whose previous position was the head of the Promotion and Investment Division in the Undersecretary of Tourism.
She was also managing partner of Marketek Consulting and, prior to that, general manager of the Chilean Tourism Promotion Corporation (later renamed Turismo Chile) and commercial director of Crowne Plaza Latin America and Caribbean Hotels.
So, the business delegation will be made up as follows:

Initially, the President’s visit would include Chile’s participation in the Pacific Alliance summit, however , the Mexican government suspended the activity as a result of the decision of the Peruvian parliament to deny the president of that country the authorization to attend the meeting.
