Prague – The future head of the Office of the President of the Republic (KPR) Jana Vohralíková discussed with the outgoing Vratislav Mynář and Chamber Chancellor Martin Plíšek today the list of guests for the March inauguration of the new President Petr Pavl and security measures. The chancellors told reporters after a joint meeting in the House of Commons. KPR gave Vohralíková an idea of the inauguration, according to Mynár, it depends on the new administration what it wants to add or omit.

Mynář also stated that outgoing President Miloš Zeman and his wife Ivana will attend the inauguration. On Monday, after the meeting in Lány, Pavel informed that he had invited Zeman.
According to Plíšek, today the chancellors made significant progress in the preparation of the joint meeting of both parliamentary chambers to take the oath of the new president, which will take place on March 9 from 2 p.m. :00. The dress rehearsal will be held a day earlier.
“Today we talked about guest lists, security measures, access of individual guests to the Prague Castle grounds,” said Plíšek. 800 guests are expected to attend the inauguration in the Vladislav Hall, and up to 3,000 people could attend the subsequent glass of wine in the Spanish Hall. It is also expected that the public will have the opportunity to greet the new president in the third courtyard of the Castle.
“It is logical that the experience of the Office of the President of the Republic, of all trade unions, not only the protocol, will be used,” said Mynář in preparation for the inauguration . The chancellors will meet again on Thursday, February 23 at Prague Castle to prepare the inauguration. A day later, invitations will be sent to the joint meeting of the parliamentary crowns in the Vladislav Hall.
