Pilsen – The Slavist midfielder Ibrahim Traoré also took part in the summer training of the Pilsen players. The players of old coach Miroslav Koubek started today with traditional physical and functional tests, they will complete the first joint training session before the new season on Tuesday. Thirty-four-year-old Traoré came to Slavia in autumn 2018 from Zlín. Originally on loan, then on transfer. The midfielder from the Ivory Coast has a contract with the Prague club until the end of next season. In the Czech top flight, Traoré played a total of 159 matches, scored 12 goals and added 13 assists.
“Ibrahim Traoré is currently allowed to participate in the training of Viktoria Plzeň. The form of his participation in our team will be decided in the next few days,” said the director general of the Pilsen club Adolf Šádek.
Among the 29 players there are also returnees from loan – goalkeepers Martin Jedlička (Bohemians 1905) with Dominik Sváček (Liptovský Mikuláš), defender Filip Čihák (Hradec Králové), midfielder Cadu (Ostrava) and forward Adam Kronus (Táborsko). Experienced defenders Luděk Pernica and Radim Řezník, whose contracts expire at the end of June, also feature in Viktoria's squad for summer training.
