Prague – Slavia footballers won the 28th round of the first league over Bohemians 1905 3:0 and returned to the top of the table by a score ahead of the second Sparta. The “Red and White” decided the small Prague derby against their neighbors from Vršovice in front of almost 19,000 spectators with three goals already in the opening act, when Václav Jurečka, Peter Olayinka and David Douděra scored successively.

The “kangaroos” did not get revenge for the recent semi-final of the cup, in which they lost 2:3 after extra time at the Slavie stadium in early April. Coach Jindřich Trpišovský's men won even in the 14th home game of the league season and scored full points after two consecutive away draws. Bohemians lost after seven rounds and in the fourth place of the table they have a two-point lead over the fifth-placed Slovácko.

Both teams started with three stoppers. Olayinka returned to the Slavic team after serving a four-match disciplinary punishment, Douděra and Zafeiris after illness. Bohemians had to do without the pair of Matoušek and Beran, who are guests in Ďolíček z Eden.

While in the recent cup semi-final, Bohemians opened the scoring early and only conceded the equalizer in the sixth minute of regulation to make it 2:2, this time they allowed themselves to be pushed from the start in Eden and soon paid the price.

In the 13th minute, Masopust, playing his 100th league game for Slavia, tapped Jurečka from the right side under him and his attempt was easily deflected out of the reach of Jedlička's goalkeeper, veteran Jindřišek. The home striker followed up on the goal from the previous round in the Sparta derby (3:3) and made his mark in the fourth of the last five competitive duels, including the winning goal in the cup against Bohemians.

The guests then added, but goalkeeper Kolář they didn't threaten the whole first half. In the 31st minute, they conceded for the second time after the break. Zafeiris pushed out Olayinka, who got rid of the defender and beat Jedlička with a shot at the back post from the edge of the box. The Nigerian returnee scored the eleventh time in the league season and continues to improve his Czech season's maximum.

In the next five minutes, the Slavists increased their lead to 3:0. Van Buren buried the ball after a long kick to Douděra, who surprised Jedlička with a shot from behind the goal. The home team also scored from the third shot between the posts and played the most successful first half since November.

Bohemians coach Veselý sent Dostála and Puskáč on the pitch after halftime, and the latter headed just over from a corner in the 53rd minute. Otherwise, however, Slavia controlled the game with an overview. Tecl's close range from the turn was aimed only at Jedlička, who then in the 84th minute hit another substitute Matěj Jurásk's free kick.

Trpišovský's men, who coached the 181st league match on the bench for Slavia and became the record holder in the club's modern history, finished the game with an overview. In the next chance, substitute Traoré appeared, but Jedlička did not burn.

Bohemians did not hit the post even once in the match. The “kangaroos” lost after three matches away from home in the league, they did not score at Slavia in the top competition for the sixth time in a row. In
