Vesna also won the national vote. Voters from the Czech Republic, however, account for only 30 percent of the votes, while 70 percent come from foreign viewers.
The band Vesna competed with the song My sister's crown, translated as Koruna mojí sestry. Similar to the previous song of the group Vesna, this latest composition also has an undertone of female themes. This time, the members of the band react to current events in society, reflect on lack of freedom and call for mutual understanding and empathy.
“It's a song that creates an invisible bond with everyone who experiences some sort of unfreedom. Whether they're being pushed by trends they don't agree with internally, whether they're being disrespected and trampled on their dignity, whether it's a culture or a regime , which dictates what a person can and cannot do. It's compassion for everyone who experiences a certain type of unfreedom and support for them to get out of it,” said the author of the lyrics and the band's frontwoman Patricia Fuxová about the song.
< p>The music and lyrics for the song My sister's crown is a joint work of Patricia Fuxová and Production Lovers with the contribution of the Bulgarian group member Tanita Yankova and the Ukrainian artist Kateryna Vatchenko.
In November 2018, Vesna released her debut album Pátá bohyně, for which she was nominated for the Anděl Award for Discovery of the Year. Among other things, the joint duet of Patricia and Vojtěch Dyk was released on the album. In autumn 2019, Vesna undertook its first club tour in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
The Vesna Group has an international composition. In addition to the Czechs Patricia Fuxová (vocals), Bára Juránková (violin) and Markéta Mužátková (drums), the Slovak Tereza Čepková (bass guitar), the Russian Olesya Ochepovskaya (keyboards) and the Bulgarian Tanita Yankova (violin) are also included.

It is also the world's most watched non-sporting televised event. It is watched by an average of 180 million viewers every year. This year's two semi-final rounds will take place on May 9 and 11, with the final on May 13 in Liverpool. Britain has taken over the organization of the 67th edition of the song contest in place of Ukraine, which faces a Russian invasion.
