Prague – The government will discuss the amendment to the act on speeding up the construction of transport, water and energy infrastructure, which incorporates EU regulations, at today's meeting. The ministers also have two government regulations on the agenda, which are presented by the Ministry of Agriculture in connection with the start of the new program period of the Common Agricultural Policy.

The amendment to the so-called line act responds to EU regulations and, according to the Ministry of Transport, does not establish any new administrative procedure and imposes almost no new obligations on individuals. According to the submission report, the contained new procedures of building authorities and other authorities mean a small extension to the procedures from the new Building Act.
On the proposal of the Ministry of Agriculture, the government will also approve subsidies for forestry and environmental payments for improving the environment, preparing for climate change and forest protection. Almost 450 million crowns are earmarked for them until 2027. In the second government regulation, the Ministry of Agriculture enshrines the new conditions that farmers must meet in order to be entitled to receive common agricultural policy payments.
The ministers will also discuss material evaluating the development of the public health insurance system based on draft health insurance plans health insurance companies. Last year, according to the Ministry of Finance, public health insurance had a surplus of 5.1 billion crowns, the balance on the accounts of insurance companies was 57 billion crowns at the end of the year. For this year, insurance companies are planning expenditures of over 471 billion crowns and a deficit of 7.5 billion crowns.
