According to the amendment to the Act on the Support of Regional Development, the Ministry of Finance should continue to decide on disputes about non-compliance with budgetary discipline, which were initiated by the regional councils of the cohesion regions before 2022. In its jurisprudence, the Supreme Administrative Court transferred decision-making to the Financial Administration, which, according to the Ministry of Finance, complicated the resolution of disputes.
