Montréal's mayor, Valérie Plante, is in mourning for her father

Jacques Nadeau Le Devoir “wrote the mayor of Montreal Valérie Plante about her father, who died.

The mayoress of Montreal, Valérie Plante, is in mourning for her father who died at an age which has not been specified.

In a message posted on her Instagram account, Ms. Plante specifies that Gaétan Plante died suddenly, in his sleep. He had been tested by a more fragile health for a year.

The message of several paragraphs from Valérie Plante is very complimentary with regard to her father who, she writes, showed her that we could dream and achieve your goals when you put your heart into it. She specifies: “in my blood runs this unfailing will that was hers”.

Valérie Plante, who was born in Rouyn-Noranda, spent her childhood and part of her adolescence in Abitibi- Témiscamingue.

She adds that her father's smile and joie de vivre were her trademark. She also points out that when she entered politics, she took him with her door-to-door or, better still, in a home for the elderly, where he was a guarantee of instant success. /p>

Information on the funeral of Gaétan Plante has not been communicated.
