Prague – Minister of Culture Martin Baxa (ODS) will explain at a press conference today how money is drawn in the resort from the National Recovery Plan. His office has recently published the results of the most subsidized call so far, which distributed money for the development of regional cultural and creative centers. Three dozen subjects from all over the country will share 2.7 billion crowns in it.

Today at the headquarters of the Ministry of Culture, some of the successful applicants will present their projects. Out of nearly five dozen applicants, 30 were successful. Support for individual applicants ranges from 31 million to 200 million crowns. Projects must be completed by September 30, 2025. The goal of the investment is to create at least 15 cultural and creative centers across the country. The construction of new centers, the conversion of existing buildings into a cultural and creative center or the expansion of an existing cultural and creative center can be supported.
Money from the National Recovery Plan from the EU fund will be distributed by the Czech Republic until 2026. The plan was created to mitigate the impacts the covid-19 epidemic and restarting the economy using European money from the EU Recovery and Resilience Instrument in the years 2021 to 2027. The Czech Republic should receive 179 billion crowns from it in the form of grants. The Czech cultural and creative space can receive 5.5 billion crowns by 2025.
