Bakuriani (Georgia) – Czech snowboarders failed to win the first mixed pairs parallel slalom race at the World Championships. Kryštof Minárik and Zuzana Maděrová took 22nd place in Bakuriani, Adam Počinek and Klára Šonková finished last in 24th place.

Both Czech pairs finished in the qualification. Minárik and Maděrová were not enough for Germany's Elias Huber and Cheyenne Lochová, Počinek and Šonková were eliminated with Giana Casanova and the world vice-champion from Tuesday's women's race Ladina Jenny from Switzerland.

The title was won by the Italians Aaron March and Nadya Ochnerová, who in in the final they consulted with world champion Andreas Prommegger and Sabine Schöffmann from Austria. The bronze medal was won by the Swiss Dario Caviezel and Julie Zoggová, who followed up on the gold from the women's race.

At the age of 36, March received the first medal from the World Cup, which he had sought in vain in the previous 17 races. Ochnerová also made it to the podium for the first time at the championship.

The men's and women's acrobatic ski jumping finals were postponed to Thursday due to strong winds.
